Century Soho for Digital Technology
Century Soho for Digital Technology is the new swatch book of papers for digital toner-based printing, joining Century Soho for Indigo Technology. This tool refers to the world of conventional digital printing with powder-based toner (unlike HP Indigo technology which uses liquid toner - or Electro-Ink). The range has been perfected not only as regards the selection of finishes, colours, formats and weights - to ensure for an ever-wider and more targeted offering - but even in name: The former "Xerography" name now gives way to a much more universal term: "Digital".
This change was needed to reflect the spread of such machinery and technology - clearly demonstrating the dynamic, active and constantly-evolving nature of this market.
Century Soho Digital products are ideal for use with printing machines by leading manufacturers such as Xerox, Canon, Ricoh, Konica Minolta, etc…
The selection also embraces the new Soho Touch Class® products, the world's first uncoated paper for digital enhancement (Scodix® technology and similar).
The new "Remote Places" booklet is a photographic journey through the shots of Veronese photographer Mattia Passarini (3 rd place in the "Travel Photographer of the Year 2016 Contest" organised by National Geographic) and includes 4-colour images printed on machinery by major manufacturers together with examples of the most innovative digital varnishing/lacquering techniques, digital foil and white ink .
The choice of these images aims to highlight the evolution of quality and the potential of this printing technology with various media.
