The eighth edition of Pulp, Fedrigoni's journal of people and paper, features pro les, reviews and a close look at product packaging with great images from the world of design and print.

  • 'Pictures in a box' looks at Paris-based art publication Wombat.
  • A review of 'Il rinascimento di Venezia' at Gallerie dell'Accademia, which celebrated the world's rst publisher, Aldus Manutius.
  • 'The whole package' – product packaging has become a vital marketing tool.
  • Studio Sutherl& designed Boxes in Boxes which uses a famous rhyme to demonstrate its ingenious construction.
  • A profile of French design duo Atelier Tout va bien.
  • 'Black and white and maybe red' – a lavish book pays tribute to the complex career of Czech typographer Oldrich Hlavsa.

Pulp 08 was printed on papers made in Italy by Fedrigoni, including Freelife Merida Ochre 215 g/m2, Symbol Freelife E/E 33 raster 170 g/m2, Tintoretto Ceylon Cubeba 140 g/m2, Splendorgel Avorio 140 g/m2 and Tintoretto Ceylon Cumino 140 g/m2, at Veronalibri in Verona.
